Online Dual Enrollment Workshop

Virtual Random Acts of Awesomeness
Community Service Meeting

They We will discuss the impact we can each have on the people around us and brainstorm ways to be awesome. We had a great time with this event last year!
If you attend at least 4 of the Community Service events throughout the year, then you can consider yourself an official member of the Eastside Community Service Club and put it on your official activities list.

Looking for mental/spiritual health resources for you or your children? Homeschooling special needs of various kinds? Just want to listen in with some women who are still in the homeschool game?
Join veteran homeschooling moms and discuss anything you’d like—Michelle Shaw, Margaret Shuman, and others will share insights and resources you can utilize as you start the school year.

Restaurant Club

Online Game Night

Saturday, January 29, 8:00 – 10:00 pm

The Eastside Student Council will be hosting monthly online game nights. We play various party games such as Pictionary, Trivia, and other games over Zoom. We use a variety of different in-browser games, so everything is free and requires no downloading. Hope to see you there! (Computer is recommended; it’s a bit harder to play on mobile phones).

We’ve invited classroom teachers and veteran homeschoolers to share their ideas and experiences in an informal panel discussion. Join other parents in discussing homeschooling and related topics.
Potential topics, depending on audience interest: Recent news on college admissions and testing in GA; Transitioning to and from traditional school; Resources for struggling students and parents; Whether accreditation matters; Graduating early/gap year; Dual enrollment and Advanced Placement; Curriculum choices; Extra-curriculars and service opportunities; Other topics related to homeschooling.
